Annual BBQ
Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, 12pm to 2pm at Village Green
Save the date for SunCrest's Annual BBQ! Join us on August 2 from 12 to 2 pm in the Village Green for Luau-themed food and fun!
Here's what to expect:
- Delicious food catered by Burnt Out BBQ (while supplies last)
- Beautiful Polynesian cultural performances
- Balloon Artists and Facepainting
- Dunk Tank, Inflatable slide, and yard games
This is a FREE community event you won't want to miss!
Remember to bring your amenity card for quicker check-in to get a wristband! The check-in table will be near the food. Wristbands will get you food, face painting, and balloons!

Teen Dive-In Movie - Pirates of the Caribbean
Friday, August 15th, 2025, 8:30pm at Clubhouse Pool and Cabana
Calling all teens! Let's celebrate back-to-school with a splash at SunCrest's Dive-In Movie Night! Bring your floaties and clear inflatables to relax in the pool while we enjoy the movie!
Open-Plunge will end at 8:30 pm, and all water amenities will be turned off. But stick around and enjoy a showing of Pirates of the Caribbean!
This event is targeted towards teens, but all ages are welcome!
Dive-In Safety Restrictions
To ensure a safe event for all, the following restrictions will be in place for the Dive-In Movie:
- Since the movie starts after dark, anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older.
- Lifeguards will be present during the event, but responsible adult supervision is still required for all children under 14.
- Large flotation devices that accommodate multiple people are permitted; however, they must be transparent/clear to allow lifeguards to see underneath. Personal flotation devices in any color are welcome!

A Midsummer Night's Dream - Grassroots Shakespeare Company
Saturday, August 30th, 2025, 6pm at Village Green
Grassroots Shakespeare is back for another fun and free evening of Shakespeare in the Park in the SunCrest Village Green!
Grassroots Shakespeare's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream was created using original practice methods native to Shakespeare's time. This means the entire show is collaboratively staged by just five actors playing all parts, with no fourth wall between actor and audience. In our production, you will see the actors address you—the audience—directly, and responses are expected and welcome! Live music and sound effects accompany the performance, as well as a jig at the end of the show, just like in Shakespeare's time!
This is a perfect evening for everyone to enjoy. Please bring your blankets and lawn chairs to get comfortable and settle in for a truly memorable performance. Please note that there will be a pre-show performance from 6 to 6:30, and the main show will start at 6:30!
