Yards and Landscaping
- What if I have a flower bed or shrub that I want to maintain myself?
- We have implemented a new flag system allowing homeowners to maintain specific landscaping elements. Simply place a designated red flag next to the flower bed or shrub you wish to maintain yourself, and Boulder Landscaping will not perform landscaping on that item. In addition to the flag, we suggest that you mark flower beds with landscape edging no taller than 5 inches. It is your responsibility to ensure flags are appropriately placed. Neither the management company nor the landscapers is responsible for missing flags.
- How can I get a flag to indicate I will be maintaining a landscaping item myself?
- Come to the SunCrest Clubhouse between 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday to complete an agreement form and receive further instructions on the flag system. At that time, you will receive the requested number of flags. If you cannot come to the clubhouse during office hours, please call us.
- What is included in my Stoneleigh Heights landscaping contract?
- Your landscaping contract with Boulder Landscaping includes mowing and weed whacking weekly on Fridays and fertilizing five times throughout the season. You will receive a one-day notice for fertilization via email newsletter. Your contract also includes spring and fall cleanup: leaf cleanup, flower bed cleanup, and shrub trimming.
- What is NOT included in my Stoneleigh Heights landscaping contract?
- Your contract does not include tree trimming, hand weeding, or individual landscaping requests, such as requests for specific bush heights.
- Will the landscapers mow my backyard?
- Yes! However, if the landscapers cannot quickly and easily access your backyard or if there is debris, such as toys or dog droppings, they will skip your yard. Landscapers will also skip your backyard if pets are present. You must provide access to your backyard all day on Fridays from 8 am until 6 pm, meaning backyard gates must be unlocked with open latches. Landscapers will not return to complete skipped yards until the following Friday. You will not receive additional reminders for Friday mowing.
- If I see a landscaping issue, whom should I contact?
- If you see a landscaping issue between 8 am and 5 pm, please call the SunCrest Office at 801-572-1233. If you see a landscaping issue outside of regular office hours, please text or email Collin at 801-657-1772 or clye@ccmcnet.com with your name, address, and a brief description of the landscaping issue with the location of the problem in your yard.
