Goju Kyokai Karate

Having fun is an important portion of our traditional Japanese curriculum, as well as learning fitness and flexibility to create a strong, healthy and well-rounded student. We strive to teach traditional karate, as well as incorporating other "styles" of self-defense techniques. Classes are held each Wednesday night. There's no cost to attend, but donations are encouraged to help cover the cost of the room rental. Check out their flyer for more info!

Adult (ages 12+): Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:00 PM

Concert in the Park

Enjoy a concert in the Village Green, featuring the duet of Amy & Leo! This duo provides amazing vocals with the sounds of guitar and keyboard.

Nature Week
Monday, August 17th, 2020, 10am at Community
 
We're celebrating nature with a week filled with activities to get you and your family outside! Each day we'll be posting a variety of activities and craft ideas, as well as take-home activities to complete! We'll be posting these on our Facebook page, and including the links here on our web page each day. Here's what we'll be doing:

Monday 17th - Nature Journals
Watch our Facebook page for a link to print your very own Nature Journal! These will help your kids document and learn about the nature around them. Also, we'll begin taking RSVPs for our Roly Poly Habitat kits!

Tuesday 18th - Pine Cone Bird Feeders
We'll be posting some how-to instructions on our Facebook page so you can create your very own bird feeders using some easy to find items at home!

Wednesday 19th - Scavenger Hunt
Keep an eye out for a list of nature-related items you can find in your very own back yard!

Thursday 20th - Roly Poly Habitat Pick-Up
We'll provide the first 200 kids with a kit to create your own Roly Poly (or potato bugs, to some) habitats! All you need to do is find a few dead leaves and your roly polies!

Friday 21st - Leave Rubbings
We'll show you how to create your very own leaf rubbings at home!

Board of Trustees Meeting
Wednesday, August 26th, 2020, 6pm at Community Center - Family Room


The SunCrest Board of Trustees Meetings take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month, unless specified differently. The meeting will be held at the SunCrest Community Center. Sign-in begins at 5:30 PM.

Stoneleigh Heights Board Meeting

Concert in the Park
Saturday, August 29th, 2020, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Village Green
 
Enjoy a concert in the Village Green, featuring the Chad Truman Band. Earlier this year, we hear Chad as a part of a duo, this time, he's bringing the whole band. They'll be coming some of country music's great hits, from classing to modern tunes.
