Design Guidelines
Design guidelines are critical to any community whose integrity is dependent on maintaining a predetermined level of quality. The standards outlined in our design guidelines are intended to encourage a caliber of design and construction that minimizes less desirable homes and establishes a community that will retain its marketability and appeal over time. Click Here to download a copy of the SunCrest design guidelines.

The Edelweiss Community features its own set of policies and guidelines regarding design. To review the Design Guidelines for the Edelweiss community, Click Here
Additionally, we'd like to remind residents and REALTORS who are selling homes in the SunCrest Association that the covenants team completes final inspections before closing the home. For more information, please read this letter from our Covenants Committee. Click Here to read.

Swale Maintenance
SunCrest's drainage system includes a network of drainage swales critical to managing the snowmelt and stormwater runoff within SunCrest. Residents are responsible for maintaining swales located on their properties to prevent water build-up. To read more about swales, including maintenance information, Click Here. If you are unsure if your property has a swale, please contact the OA office at 801-572-1233.

Architectural Improvements & Landscaping
To provide for and protect each individual's homeowner rights and property value, it is required that any SunCrest homeowner considering improvements to their property that modify the exterior of the home or property, including landscaping, submit their design plans along with a completed Architectural Improvement Application to the Design Review Board (DRB) before initiating work on planned improvements. Please fill out the application and email it to Aimee Toner at atoner@ccmcnet.com or bring it to the office.
Variance Application
If a homeowner would like to install an architecture improvement that is not in accordance with the design guidelines, the homeowner can request a variance (per CC&R Article 4.6) from the Design Review Board. A homeowner submitting a variance application understands and agrees that the activity permitted under the variance will not have any substantial adverse effect on the owners and residents of SunCrest and is consistent with the high quality of life intended for owners and residents of SunCrest. If you have received a violation letter for an unapproved architectural improvement and need to have it reviewed by the Design Review Board, please submit a variance application. Click Here to download the SunCrest Architectural Improvement Variance Application.
Landscape Deadline Extension
We understand that sometimes projects are delayed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If you have received approval for your landscape improvement project from the Design Review Board but are unable to complete it by the deadline, you can complete a request for landscape extension, giving you more time to finish the project. Click Here to download the Request for Landscape Deadline Extension form.
The Design Review Board will make every effort to approve or disapprove a submittal within ten (10) business days from submittal acceptance. However, the lack of a response within this time frame shall not be considered an approval as some items require more time for review. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to give the SunCrest OA Office a call at 801-572-1233 or email Holly Walther, the Community Manager, at hwalther@ccmcnet.com.
